After a journey of almost seven months and more than 470 million kilometers, the rover "Perseverance" landed on the surface of Mars on February 18, 2021. On board is a research instrument in whose development the Unistat P825 played an important role.

Building expansions, record sales and enormous growth strength - Baden-Württemberg's Minister President Winfried Kretschmann visited Peter Huber Kältemaschinenbau AG at the company's headquarters in Offenburg on Friday and gained an impression of the activities of the temperature control technology manufacturer.

In chemical reactions, solvents serve to make it easier for two solids, for example, to react with each other without the solvent itself being involved in the reaction. Solvents are thus important components in chemistry and are missing in almost every chemistry laboratory.

The Peter Huber Kältemaschinenbau AG continues its international expansion. In early November 2020, Huber opened a new support and service center based in Illkirch-Graffenstaden, France. The new subsidiary will serve end users and partners in France under the name "Huber France Services".

The Huber CT50 cold trap offers direct, rapid cooling to temperatures as low as -50°C as well as low operating costs. Its compact design takes up minimal space on the laboratory bench. Thanks to the natural refrigerant, the cold trap works in an environmentally friendly manner. It is also robust and durable due to the high-quality materials used in its manufacture.
